Product Introduction
The number of threads in a fabric refers to the number of threads per inch. The warp threads extend longitudinally in the fabric. The weft thread or weft thread traverses the width of the fabric at right angles to the fabric. Since the monofilament fabric produced has the same yarn diameter and the same count in the warp and weft directions, the mesh openings are square.

Product Application
These multifunctional precision woven fabrics meet the strict technical requirements in automotive, biomedical, chemical processing and water treatment applications. Common applications include molded filters for air and fuel filter elements, fuel nozzles and liquid filter bags. As you can see, woven mesh is often used for filtration applications.

Thread Diameter is specified as the diameter of the thread in microns.Yarn sizes in both warp and weft directions are the same.
Mesh Opening is the size or space between threads.The mesh opening is the result of the combination of the mesh count and yarn size.Mesh opening will determine the size or amount of material that will pass through the fabric.
